Welcome to Magic Mist Miniatures, a small, family-run miniature horse farm. Our goal is to raise top-quality, registered horses with beauty, grace, athleticism, and wonderful dispositions. Several of our horses are shown each year and do very well -- many of them winning National Awards, including National Championships, National Reserve Championships, Hall of Fame awards, and even AMHR Horse of the Year.

We raise a few foals every year who are handled daily. All of our horses are current on vaccinations, are wormed regularly, and have their hooves trimmed on a regular basis, as well as fed a high-quality diet.

Our herd consists of most of the top bloodlines, including many horses heavily bred Buckeroo and Rowdy, and also carrying Egyptian King, FWF, Fishers, Prince Tennessee of Monashee, Chianti,and Fallabella, to name a few . We are constantly striving to produce the very best horses possible, for show quality, athleticism with beautiful movement, and excellent temperament.

Out of Wild Wind's Frost Fire, and by Daleo's Emerald Ridges Color To Burn, "Fire" began his full-time show career as a three year old in 2003. Everything was new and confusing to him at first, but he quickly acclimated and he enjoys it all: Halter, Liberty, Multi-Color, Hunter, and Jumper. At his first AMHR Nationals he placed Top Ten in every category, including Reserve Champion in Multi Color. At his next Nationals he received Reserve Champion in Youth Halter, and CHAMPION in Jumping. Fire has been started in driving and had his show driving debut in October of 2004, and he does show the wonderful potential that I was hoping for. Fire's athletic ability, beautiful movement, intelligence, energy, and sweet willing nature make him a true delight to show, and his quirky character traits make him an amusing and wonderful companion. Out of Mountain Meadows Spring Tyme Wishes and by CCMF Spotted Illusion, this colt is a doll.   He was born with a little white blanket and spots, but has shed out to be a near-leopard appaloosa.  These photos were taken at just two hours old.  He was gelded as a two year old and will be joining our show string. SeeRazzie's page for more pics.

Rage
Out of Wild Winds Frost Fire and by BHR Lerwick (one of the Seth Thomas Collection horses, ASPC/AMHR, and Superior Sire) this colt was a thrill from the moment he was born. Such loud color on a correct frame with that pretty face---and he's  known as "Mr. Personality" with his bold attitude and wild antics, and what a trot!        "Rage" bred three mares as a two year old in 2006 before he was gelded, and all three mares settled and foaled beautiful, healthy foals in the spring of 2007. Check out the foals page to see them.  Rage hasn't been shown much yet but he'll get to see more of the show ring in the near future. He's Back!!! Out of Mountain High's AMayZing, (Mulitiple National Champion) and by Rattlesnake Bayou Rowdy Sugar Buck (National Champion). "Rowdy's" new owner was unable to keep him, due to circumstances beyond her control, so Rowdy is back home. This beautiful, sweet boy will be trained to drive and hit the show circuit again, this time as a performance horse. It's good to have him home!

Out of Summer's Je Tieme and by CCMF Spotted Illusion, this colt is a beauty.   Leggy, straight, with striking appaloosa color and a terrific trot, he should mature about 36". "Zip" is nominated and sustained to the AMHR National Futurity and is being offered for sale, though it is tempting to keep him-- what a show horse he will be!
